You know when I say, “your best extra virgin olive oil?” THIS IS WHAT I MEAN.

I had the pleasure of receiving a gifted bottle (at random!) from a friend of mine here in town a few months ago. Which lead me to reach out to the brand because I obviously fell in love. And get this, the brand is actually local to Kansas City, and Johanna (the owner) and I became fast friends and I basically need you all to know about this oil. Gah! It is PHENOM.
This is the thing, you can cook with it, use it as a finishing oil, drizzle last second, fry your eggs in it, it all works. It’s an extra virgin olive from SPAIN, so it has a flavor quality like nothing you’ve had. Absolutely delicious.
Two things I’d like to tell you now.
The first is that I’m going to be co-hosting an event on Saturday September 26th at a local restaurant from 3-5pm with Johanna and Jo Marie. It will be a ticketed event, but oh so totally and completely worth it. I have been obsessed with this extra virgin olive oil the moment I tasted it. It’s special, vibrant, nourishing, and come on, that bottle is the most stylish thing I’ve ever seen.
A couple of recipes that I’ve used the oil on is this Chicken, Tomato and Rice Bake. WOW. It just wakes it all up at the end. Also, it shiiiiines on this Pan Con Tomate. I beg you to try it out.
