Let Me Introduce You To Your New Favorite Extra Virgin Olive Oil

You know when I say, “your best extra virgin olive oil?” THIS IS WHAT I MEAN.

I had the pleasure of receiving a gifted bottle (at random!) from a friend of mine here in town a few months ago. Which lead me to reach out to the brand because I obviously fell in love. And get this, the brand is actually local to Kansas City, and Johanna (the owner) and I became fast friends and I basically need you all to know about this oil. Gah! It is PHENOM.

This is the thing, you can cook with it, use it as a finishing oil, drizzle last second, fry your eggs in it, it all works. It’s an extra virgin olive from SPAIN, so it has a flavor quality like nothing you’ve had. Absolutely delicious.

Two things I’d like to tell you now.

The first is that I’m going to be co-hosting an event on Saturday September 26th at a local restaurant from 3-5pm with Johanna and Jo Marie. It will be a ticketed event, but oh so totally and completely worth it. You’ll receive a bottle of the oil, spend two hours with fantastic women, hear a gifted nutritionist speak about the benefits of the extra virgin olive oil, and how it plays a big part in women’s health, especially during the perimenopause era. (hold me) And we’ll have a beautiful butternut squash soup with fresh local bread.     The September 26th event sounds wonderful — EVOO and women's health is a topic that doesn't get talked about nearly enough, especially around perimenopause. Any chance it will be recorded or streamed for those of us who aren't local? Either way, congrats on the Valèvida collaboration — putting your name on an olive oil you actually stand behind feels very on brand. Butternut squash soup with fresh local bread sounds like the perfect pairing!

    Bev omg I can't believe you use the same olive oil as me! I'm originally from Valencia but moved to Madrid 5 years ago where I work as a private chef and ever since discovering this olive oil brand I can't use anything else :)

    I am 100% the person who buys things because the packaging looks like it belongs in an interior design magazine. I’m fully prepared to display this gorgeous bottle on my kitchen counter and just stare at it while eating lukewarm leftovers, pretending I’m a gourmet chef. Giddy up indeed!
