I’ve said the words “frozen pizza” a surprising number of times lately.

Let me be clear, I wear that badge with honor.
I’ve been thinking about the art of frozen pi- hold on. I’ll need you to stop laughing for a moment because I am quite serious. You’ve never encountered a more serious Bev. The art of frozen pizza – I am convinced it is the great loophole in life.
It represents all walks of society. And in doing so, erases any and all social status norms and binds us all. (my fist is in the air right now.) I mean listen, we’ve been buying frozen pizzas since our broke college days, and we’re still buying them now. Might be a higher quality brand, but we’re still buying them.
Why? Because it just gets the job done. Do you know how many times I’ve gone to a friend’s house that involved a kid hang too and said, “I’ll bring a couple of frozen pizzas!” Or how many times we’ve collapsed after an evening soccer game and found a frozen pizza in the freezer to save us all from death and hysterics and anger? (in that order.)
My friend brought over a frozen pizza the other night to give to a group of gals before a sleepover, and I yoinked a piece and about died. Di Fara. Have you had this frozen pizza? Absolutely delicious. I hear Rao’s has a to-die-for pie as well. I’ll make it happen soon.
Trader Joe’s has this incredible pizza with sausage and pepperoni and peppers and I snag one every single time I’m there. (and it’s $5.49. holla.) Aldi has some killer ones, too.
I hear Costco has some stellar choices.
Also let it be known that I will never turn away a frozen Totino’s party pizza. Not now, not ever.
Another story: back in 2017 my friend Sarah and I visited our friend Laura in Boulder, CO. The first night she served us frozen deep dish pizza (that had been shipped from somewhere and we can’t remember where!) with a side crunchy green salad and I’ve thought about it 13 trillion times since then. Help us! Where does one get a shipped frozen deep dish pizza?!
I think about frozen pizza to an irrational degree, and I need to know if you fall somewhere in this mental mania. And if so, do you have a go-to frozen pizza that has never let you down? It’s quick, affordable and there are sooooo many options. How can one not love a frozen pizza!
New series, by the way. Will be random and sporadic and simply based on what I’m hyper-focused on at the moment.
Frozen pizza is a vibe. This shan’t be argued.
