Monthly Mixtape: I Need To Feel Like I’m In a Jane Austen Movie

March! Happy month of peacin’ OUT, winter. (<–that made more sense in my head)

We won’t even try to fix it. It’s close enough.

Ahhhhh March. She’s a tricky son of a b, but I’ll still take her. The month of organizing the mental garden plan. The month of (weather-permitting) patio hangs watching the madness of basketball with a slew of friends. The month of the TIME CHANGE WAIT. Is this the last one? The last time change? I will cry if it is. We’ve talked about my adoration for the ritual of the time change, I know we have. It goes into vote this year, right? We can’t talk about it. Tell me.

What I have for you today (finally!) is the Jane Austen movie vibes mixtape. All symphonic, all lush, all orchestral. Just grab a bonnet and you’re set. You’ll feel like you’re slapped right down in the middle of a period piece movie set. (Mr. Darcy sold separately)

I start every morning with coffee, classical music, candles, and the New York Times. If you want to switch your morning routine with something more on the soothing side, HERE SHE IS. For me, classical music sets the tone in my brain for the day. (then I switch it over to Swift later on, I’m not a lunatic.)
