Happy April! It’s our anniversary! 21 years. Don’t tell my jowls about this.
We plan to take coffees in the van, make our IRA contributions and hit an estate sale for Easter basket things! SO romantic. (actually my favorite. the estate sale part. and the coffee part.)
Speaking of, what are you putting in your kids’ baskets? Natalie has said the word NeeDoh more times than I can count, so I guess I’m hunting that down today. Also what is a NeeDoh? And does it hurt?
Today’s mixtape is sooooooooo good. It’s all shoegaze. Dreampop. Lush and layered and delicious. I discovered this band on IG the other day called Yndling, and it completely inspired this mix. I listened to a lot of My Bloody Valentine in my 20s, and was actually in a shoegaze band during that era, so this genre is nothing new to me. But her band is! And it’s GREAT. Transportive. Makes me feel young again.
So with that, and this moody drizzly morning, I give you . . . the “Shoegaze and Rain Haze” mix.
