Let It Snow – Our Take!

It’s a throwback day! (Flotsam should return next week. We’ll see.)

Yeaaaars and years ago Aaron and I decided that we needed to record a Christmas song in order to become rich and famous, like most artists do. And while that definitely did not happen (the rich and famous part), we still got a song out of it!

That’s worth something, right?

These photos are old, but they deserve to be brought back to current times because this was one of the most epic snowstorms we’d ever seen. Look at that! You can’t see ish!

You ready for the song?

We’re very young when we recorded our take of Let It Snow, and I’d LOVE to get back in a studio and redo it properly with extra instruments and vibed out more. Yet, it has a feel to it as is. Acoustic guitar, two voices. That’s it.

Maybe that’s all it needs to be.

Yeah, that’s all it needs to be.

I’ll try and figure out how to get this to Spotify at some point in 2029.

Enjoy!

Magical. Love the photos too. Live in northern Minnesota. First year there won’t be any snow. White Christmas >brown Christmas 🎅

I love this. Folksy but rich, haunting but comforting-perfection. Happy holidays to you and yours!
