I don’t know but I’ve been told that it’s not very end of July-ish outside right now.
Actually, I do know because my eyeballs are looking out my open back door at the steady rain that’s not even slowed down in over 24 hours, with temperatures hovering right around 70.
I LOVE IT.
I’ve always always always been a rain person. Except for that one time when I was six years old and living in Hot Springs, AR, and my family was on our way to the little local amusement park Magic Springs. But it was pouring rain the whole way there and things weren’t looking so good for our lives. I was sitting in the backseat of my mom’s best friend’s blue Buick, and I was chewing blueberry Bubblicious bubblegum, and the flavor went away in like four and half seconds, so I got bored with it and pulled it out of my mouth and cursed its name, then stuck it under the seat cushion because WHAT ELSE WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO. And we sat in the parking lot of a gas station waiting for the rain to stop FOR LIKE HOURS. And when it finally did, I had counted all the lost minutes that could have been spent on the log ride, and I was pouty. The end.
But other than that, I’ll take rain over sun any day.
My point is, I just looked up how they make decaf coffee and it looks like they stopped using formaldehyde in 1985.
Wait, that’s not my point.
OH! I remember now. Even if it’s not Beach Boys bikini weather out, you should definitely try these summery watermelon and feta caprese bites. AAAAND hark it up, preggos. The feta is pasteurized. HA-BAM.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to get the house cleaned up for a certain blogging bee eff that’s coming to visit me in the morning. I don’t want to give anything away, but her name rhymes with Schmessida from Pow Feet Sit Lis.
We’re going to sit around and try to decide which one of my fetuses has more fine-tuned ninja skills. My money’s on the girl.
Watermelon-Feta Caprese Bites! foorrrrrr yer summer lovin’ facehole.
