Brrrrrrrrrr! I mean Frrrrrrrrrr!

Where the heck did my Viva Signature Cloth paper towels go? You know how I am about Viva Signature Cloth paper towels. If it was a cult, I would be the leader of picking out our monochromatic outfits.

Seriously, are they gone or discontinued or only an online luxury now? Because I used to be able to snag a huge bundle at Hyvee for a decent price, and I haven’t seen them in a g e s. Back in December I tried to order from Amazon and it was going to be FEBRUARY before they arrived. I almost completely died on the literal spot. But I’m not dramatic about it or anything.

But have you seen them in person in a while? Maybe I’ll try Target. I love Aldi to freaking death, but their paper towels ain’t cutting it.

You know what I’ve noticed lately. You didn’t ask, but I’m definitely going to tell you.

Anytime I call an official business of some sort, like a doctor or a utility or whatever, I have to please listen carefully as their options have changed. EVERYONE’S OPTIONS HAVE CHANGED.

But this is the thing, I think they changed their options back in 2007 and forgot to update the intro message telling us about said changed options. But who changes their options that many times? And all together? Did all the businesses decide collectively to drive the American people bonkers and change all the options at the exact same time and forever? I can’t even tell you what the old options were and I’ve listened carefully already for years, bro!

I’m fine. We’re all good. Maybe just don’t change the options anymore.

Also, we are obsessed with these flannel sheets for Will, if you’re on the hunt for cozy winter warmth. They look sharp in his room, too! Boyish but with style. Giddy up.

Weekend plans?

It’s gonna get cooooooold. As it is for the rest of the country. Arctic blasts can eat a rotten egg.

We have a soccer tournie this weekend! Game tonight, Chiefs game tomorrow, more soccer on Sunday, and another one early Monday morning. Yes, on a Monday. On a holiday Monday morning. ‘Tis that soccer life! I got nothing else for ya. Just in that wintering mode with a little deep cleaning here, inhaling a book there (finishing One True Loves today – omg!), a bit of yoga, a crackling fire as much as possible, and fridge decorating. You saw these magnetic shelves, right? So good.

From this week: Roasted Red Pepper Soup! It’s the type of soup that involves a few moans and groans. It’s good stuff. Make a grilled cheese with it. You’ll fall in love. And here’s that video. I don’t know what the algorithm’s beef is with me, but I’d love it if you love that for a sec. Thank ya!
