Frrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrah! dah.

Hey, thank you all SO MUCH for your thoughtful, meaningful and supportive words from last week’s post. You have no idea how touched we were, how far they went and how warm we felt. Thank you. Endlessly, thank you. And so many asked how you could support me. And I have answers for that! Blog support (which you do) goes further than you think. If you have a favorite recipe of mine, a pin to Pinterest is fabulous. A share is even better. Engagement on Instagram is so helpful. Saving recipes on IG (using that little save button) is incredible. Sharing my reels in your stories does wonders. Just getting the recipes and reels to a wider audience is it for me. So thank you so much for asking that! You are appreciated beyond words.
That said, I miss Supermarket Sweep.

Remember that show?! I never got to be on it and for that I’m devastated for all eternity. I could have ruled on that show. I’m fast. I’m thrifty. I’m focused. RIP to my biggest missed opportunity.
You know what else is comforting? Clair Huxtable. I have always and will forever find her soothing, stunning and seriously stylish. “You ever dance with a fool?” Ugh! The best. No matter what we think of Bill (ew) or the show (I loved it so much) or whatever her support is for him these days (hmm), watching old clips of Clair on Youtube is an immediate mood booster. My FAVORITE episodes were the ones when the entire family would dance on the stairs! Remember those episodes?! They would dance in the living room and up the back stairs and it was what my soul lived for. I think my favorite one was for Cliff’s parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. They did a whole routine to some song – Night and Day I think. OMG! And little tiny Rudy was lipsyncing all, “BABAAAAAAY. BABAAAAAAY.” I completely died. Perfection. Such iconic moments of childhood. Why Bill had to be such a horrific turd I’ll never know. How could he do this to us.
Anyway, Clair is a vibe and I’ll always love her.

Weekend plans? Aaron and I are currently trying to locate tennis balls so that we can go play for a hot minute. Bonus to no work – you can carve out time for tennis! But we have to find balls. (Will would smirk so hard if I said that out loud. This is what it’s like living with an 11 year old boy.)
It’s a stunner of a weekend. A soccer game, a dinner with lady friends, and a healthy list of yard tasks. (don’t tell Aaron but I need him to transplant this beautiful shrub that’s crowding a certain area behind our service berry tree. I have just the spot for it! Keep me close in your hearts as I break the news to him.)
I did post a very simple quiche yesterday that I know you’ll love. It’s easy, it’s beautiful and beyond delicious. I hope you make it! And the video for it.
Thank you again for everything. You have no idea how much this community means to me.
