I Need Some Serious Namaste Up In Here

So, after all the raking yesterday I woke up to find my rib cage, hips and waist broken. I decided to book a massage for this Saturday and to stretch it out with some after-work yoga. I lit some nag champa, cranked up an old Air album, and within 20 minutes I came back to life. Well, almost. Once I spend 60 minutes on a massage table enduring deep tissue bliss, I’m pretty sure that will do the trick.

I’m totally not bragging. Not at all. Oh wait yes I am.

Hey, what do you guys listen to when you do yoga? I’m needing a new mix.

Indian-Chicken Skewer Salad:

What it took for 2:

* 1 package chicken tenders (or 2 breasts sliced thinly)
* 1/2 cup tikka masala paste (I use Patak’s)
* 1/4th cup greek plain yogurt
* 1 tub field greens
* juice of half a lime
* 1/4th cup extra virgin olive oil
* coarse salt and freshly ground pepper

In a small bowl toss the chicken with the tikka masala paste and yogurt. Cover and marinate overnight in the refrigerator. Next day, skewer them and grill for about 2 to 3 minutes per side, until chicken is done. In a small bowl, whisk together lime juice, evoo, salt and pepper. Top field greens with chicken and drizzle with dressing. Monday night tastes pretty good doesn’t it?
