OCTOBAAAAH!

This is my all-time favorite month, you guys. Well, October and April. Maybe May. I like November, too. Wait, June is good!

Anyway.

It’s a new month, which means a new MIXTAPE, bae bae. And iiiit’s a good ‘n.

Monthly Mixtape: The "Treat-or-Treat, Smell-My-Feet" Mix

Yesterday we found ourselves with a few afternoon hours of not madness, so we decided to pause on work, and take the gremlins to a little park nearby, and then this tiny, charming mid-week farmer’s market. It was so Mayberry! Little pretzel stands, children frolicking in a quaint bed of baby pumpkins, a RAFFLE. When was the last time you thought about a raffle? 1984, exactly. It’s been a long time since I’ve filled out a good raffle ticket. Felt good. We didn’t win.

My point is, it’s so fallin’ and my mix is so ballin’. (please don’t tell anyone I just said that.) (I don’t even know what it means.)

I made this mix with the specific change of season in mind. It FEELS incredible outside, everything SMELLS so amazing, and this playlist is going to hold your hand through it all. It’s got some oldies but goodies, some chill vibey vibes, a little bit of bare-bone folk, and a touch of new stuff that’s been on repeat around here. (hello, ryan adams covering taylor swift – W A T. I can’t not dig it.)

Play it at your Halloween party, or when you’re folding clothes. It all works.

    ALL I'm hearing as i read this is the interview with jimmy fallon where Kevin Spacey impersonates Christopher Walkin talking about trick or treating and he does the "trick-or-treat smell my feet" line. it's worth the five minutes on youtube. i promise.

    So - I LOVE Ryan Adams (and LOVE that you LOVE him too) - but this T. Swift thing is throwing me for a loop....but, I can't help but like it. It's just....so weird!
