Hot Ham and Cheese Dip

Well that’s over. What am I supposed to do with my time now that March Madness is behind us!?

Oh, right. Finish Downton Abbey. But I only have half an episode left and we’re watching it tonight and THEN WHAT?

Oh, right. Look at Phillip Phillips. But that’s only twice a week and WAAAAH.

Oh, yeah. Start reading the Hunger Games. But knowing me I’ll put that off to look at Phillips Phillips on the YouTubes some more.

Oh, our kitchen remodel! Which, by the way, round one of demo starts this Thursday and my armpits have already become a high powered sprinkler system. I had this idea though and I want to run it past you. What about REMODELING VIDEOS? Like, tips on dry wall, how to tile, how to install a dishwasher? And by all this I mean me dancing around the kitchen with a crow bar singing, “I’m gon’ crow you up!”

I am not afraid to make these videos. As a matter of fact, I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE.

In the meantime, I have a hot ham and cheese dip to show you that will change the course of your tongue’s life, forever.

Full story and recipe up in HER.

…omg these videos are so going to rule…

We remodeled our kitchen last year. Ripped it down to the studs, including the ceiling. New everything - lights, dryway, cabinets, tile, appliances, electric (It is an older condo) It took over 6 weeks...through the holidays too. We moved the fridge, microwave, and a couple of base cabinets (to store what we needed and to make counter space) out to the edge of the living room to make it manageable - kinda like living in a hotel. Paper goods become your friend, lots of crock pot cooking (it was the middle of winter so grilling wasn't much of an option) and washing dishes in the tub. Well worth it though - I LOVE mine. Can't wait to see. Good luck!

If it means hearing more of your hysterical voice on random phrases...yes! I'm still saying the Mr. Bates one from time to time in my head...

I love dips. Dips (and frosting) should be piled on thick!

I'm so addicted to Downton Abbey, but still only on season one so luckily I don't have to wonder how to spend my free time just yet :) But if I did, a kitchen remodel would be a great distraction!

This looks so tasty- and great for game days! Two of our room mates were mighty sullen last night after the loss. "I can't even talk about it right now" may have been uttered. I vote YES for DIY videos! Love your blog! xoxo, Heather barefootcrafts.wordpress.com
