Asian Turkey Lettuce Cups

I have a kitchen.

A real life kitchen with lights and electricity.

A real life kitchen with water and soap and hand lotion.

A real life kitchen with a sink so large, Hugh Hefner himself would glow at the possibilities.

A real life kitchen with drawers so soft and slick, I’ll no longer look like I’m wrangling an elephant when trying to open one.

A real life kitchen with so much space on the gorgeous quartz countertops for all of my spills and hourly mishaps.

A real life kitchen that I can walk into, pretend that I’m on Dancing With the Stars and curtsy to the supportive audience in my head.

And I’m dying to show you pictures. Okay so I just posted one to Instagram. BUT! We still have to move the fridge back in and do some staining and the window treatments and add some plants and my dishes and finish up on some tiny cosmetic thingies before I show you all the little details. But I will say, the volume of my squealing has deafened nearly every one in the 66208 zip code.

But for today I have a fun little story about how I fell into the love with the lettuce wraps of the Asian variety.

Here she is on the Tablespoon!

We just had lettuce wraps last night for supper, my kiddos love them. I use any leftovers and make rice and stir fry it the next night with added vegi's!
