Vegetarian Football Pizzas

Some things in life just aren’t in my control.

Things like death and taxes. Things like natural disasters, plagues and famine. Things like accidentally finding myself at Pryde’s foaming at the mouth over a football-shaped cookie cutter so that I can make ridiculous football pizzas in order to feel festive in my little life.

Out of my control.

And it hurts so good.

I should be embarrassed at how much I giggled when these came out of the oven.

But again, it’s not within the realms of what I have a say in, in this life of mine.

O.O.C. and mostly okay with it. (That’s what my t-shirt says.)

You totally want one. I CAN HELP YOU RIGHT HERE.

*make these. make these. seriously. this sunday. make these. or right now. make these. you will freak. make these. i can’t even tell you. make these.*

*one more thing, the picture over there has laces on it. that’s another way you can make these. with or without!

When I saw you using these cookie cutters on something other than cookies (on Instagram), I wondered what it was. Now I know and I LOVE these! Such a great idea!!! Pizza is good in any form, but how perfect for the Superbowl :)

Very cute idea!! Me, I would never think to make something savory with that cookie cutter. You know me an sweets!! Fun idea for mini pizzas for the kiddos too.

aha! I think I thought these footballs were hearts on instagram. I'm getting a little testy about Valentine's Day already, can you tell? Sometimes "cutesy" food doesn't actually taste as good as its non-cutesy counterparts but I believe your mini pizzas are as good as the real thing!
    • Bev Weidner February 1, 2012 at 4:35 am #
Oh no...you saw hearts. Yesterday! These footballs were a couple of weeks back. ;)
