Little Taste of Fall

My husband is watching Tron Legacy, which obviously means I’m left scratching my armpits.

So, I thought I’d show you a picture of what’s going on in our front yard. This is our dogwood tree, in all its fall glory.

It is SO gorgeous on our street right now. Various tones of golds, browns, reds, and the last of the greens just have me completely breathless and tota…..wait, is that Jeff Bridges, STILL?

bev - i found you through foodgawker, but as a former KC person, we have many friends in common! anyway, if you have a chance in the next couple of weeks, drive by barclay's house. the maple tree in his front yard takes my breath away.

Hey, Laci! So you know Barclay, huh? He's such a great guy. I'll need to scope out his yard! Who else do you know?

Nice shot my friend. I want to talk photography with you...what camera, what lens, what setting. Love all the blur and bokeh. Why can't you live closer? We need a camera/wine date so we can scratch our armpits together :)

Thank you, Averie! We really should. I sort of just fly by the seat of my pants when it comes to photography. But I can tell you: Nikon d3000. 35 mm lens. I can't remember the setting, but it was in manual. MANUAL! I'm learning. I know. We seriously need to meet, wine it, photog it, and blog it. XO!

Hi Bev, I came over from Pioneer Woman. I'm going to try my best to visit a new blog every day for the rest of the year, and today you're my new visit! Your photo is beautiful. The leaves are just starting to change here along the KS/OK border -- can't wait till our trees look like yours! Blessings to you!

So glad you came over from P-Dub! A blog a day, wow! Are they blogs you'll go back to after you visit once? I normally post recipes each day and would love to have you back! Thanks for dropping by!

TRON. Whoever is the party responsible for saying "let's do a remake"? I'd like to pull their eyebrows out.
